New Year's Eve Cruise in NYC Harbor
On Thursday, December 31st, Statue Cruises’ luxury yacht, the Audubon, will depart on its first voyage since its renovation for a New Year’s Eve celebration unlike any other.
According to The Big Apple on the Cheap:
This is a four-hour celebration cruise that celebrates both the arrival of 2010 and the yacht’s first voyage since an extensive and expensive renovation. There’s an open bar, hors d’oevres,spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline. At mignight, there’s a champagne toast right in front of the Statue of Liberty, and fireworks courtesy of the Audubon’s owner, Statue Cruises.
The New Year’s Eve Cruise on the New York Harbor will depart at 9 PM from Battery Park in Manhattan and return to shore at 1 AM. “This New Year’s Eve will be one to remember”, said Michael K. Burke, Chief Operating Officer of Statue Cruises. "The Audubon is the only boat on New Year's Eve with permission to be in the waters nearest the Statue of Liberty.
